FAQ
Email reputation is shared infrastructure. Requiring a valid payment method helps us keep spam and abuse off SendRaven and protect deliverability for legitimate senders. The Free plan is still $0 for 3,000 emails a month, and we will never automatically upgrade you to a paid plan or charge the card without you switching paid sending on.
One. A workspace has its own domains, contacts, suppressions and API keys, and nothing is shared between two of them, including the 3,000 free emails — so a second workspace runs on Standard from the day you create it, from $19 a month. You can create one whenever you like and it starts receiving mail straight away; it sends nothing until you switch paid sending on, and nothing is charged before you do. Most teams need one workspace: a second is for keeping two products' sending reputation and opt-out lists genuinely apart.
Inbound replies are included and don't count toward your email usage. If you or an agent sends a reply back, that outbound message counts as a normal email send.
As many as you want. SendRaven doesn't charge based on the size of your contact database. You pay for outbound email sending.
Sending pauses. We won't automatically charge your card. Activate paid sending to continue, starting at $19/month. Inbound mail keeps arriving either way, and your allowance resets when the month turns over.
One outbound recipient. A message to one person is one; a message with three addresses across To, Cc and Bcc is three; a campaign to 10,000 people is 10,000. Received mail and replies you receive are zero. Retries never count twice, and a message rejected before it is sent isn't counted at all.
No, and you can't get it wrong. There is one plan and one curve: SendRaven applies the best Standard rate for what you actually sent. At 150,000 emails you pay $60, not the $109 a 250K bucket would have cost.
No. Both count toward the same meter at the same rate. They go out on separate subdomains with separate reputations, so a campaign's complaint rate can never reach your password resets; charging differently for them would only reward mislabelling campaigns as transactional, which is exactly what breaks the separation.
From around 1 million emails a month, and never as a wall: self-service pricing keeps applying at every volume, and a customer who prefers to stay on it can — above 3 million it continues at $0.50 per 1,000. What a conversation buys is a better commercial arrangement: negotiated volume rates, annual commitments, dedicated IPs, an SLA, invoicing and net terms, custom retention and procurement review.
